This tangential flow impeller is effective for low speed, high viscosity mixing. The 102 x 102 mm (4 x 4 in) anchor blade is welded to an 9.5 mm (⅜ in) diameter shaft, all electropolished 316L stainless steel. Fits the Sweep accessory covers SW4. The high shear at the edges makes it a good choice to use close to the vessel wall.
