Dual-Light™
transilluminators
provide two 20 cm x 20 cm work surfaces.
Choose cool white plus UV wavelength or two UV wavelengths.
New Single-Surface Dual Light is now available, providing two UV
wavelengths on a 20 cm x 20 cm surface, or on an optional 21 cm x 25 cm
surface. Dual-Lights provide
greater latitude in visualizing and documenting genetic work while saving
bench space.
Dual Intensity provides preparative and analytical modes, as well as
more time with gels while minimizing dimerization, photo-nicking, or
photo-bleaching.
The UV filter surface is backlit with 254 nm, 300 nm, or 365 nm UV lamps.
The 300 nm UV wavelength induces high fluorescence and sensitivity in
ethidium bromide-stained DNA and RNA gels-producing clear, distinct bands.
Cool white filter surfaces are designed to provide even illumination with an
average light stretch measurement of 5000-Lux.
This is correct surface and background lighting for coomassie blue
stained protein gels, methylene blue stained DNA gels, silver stained
protein gels, autoradiographies, and microtiter plates. Ultra-Glo™
can
convert UV to visible light with any of our combination transilluminators.
