If faster heating and a very even temperature distribution is required over the whole tray, a water bath shaker has advantages over temperature control using air circulation. Splashing at high speeds and difficult cleaning count against them. These disadvantages are eliminated in the Aquatron - a novel shaker system due to the ”invention” of a round form. The table is located on a dry, central eccentric drive shaft system, designed so that no part is timmersed the water. The table can easily be removed for cleaning of the bath by releasing the central locking handle and remoring it. Surface rusting will not be a problem as the housing, walls and table fixing are all non-metallic. The bath contents can be completely and effortlessly removed via a drain valve.
