The
gas vapors are aspirated through the exhaust system into a flask
containing water to the vapors. In the next flask the remaining vapors are
neutralized by an alkali solution. The exhaust air is usually routed to a
sink in fume hood.
Aspirating water through the system easily cleans the pump. |
