History	From laboratory equipment to fine chemicals
Rose Scientific Ltd. is often referred to as Rose, the name under which it was first founded in 1990. The founders, having long experience in the laboratory supply industry, saw a need for a laboratory equipment and supply company to service the growing demand for excellent laboratory equipment to enhance the sciences in a wide array of scientific and laboratory related industries in Canada. They started with some excellent lines from first tier manufacturers, and from their modest beginning have grown to a company with international sales and a premiere position in the Canadian industry. To further enhance the sciences Rose Scientific Ltd incubated Chemica Alta in 1993 as a company established for the sole purpose of developing and enhancing fine chemicals for use in research laboratories. In 1999 we established our first repair and service center equipped to handle all of the instrumentation servicing needs of our customers.
Products	Equipment, supplies and custom chemical synthesis
Our catalog has expanded to include our Chemicals and Biochemicals, General Laboratory Equipment, as well as our Liquid Handling Products. We carry a very comprehensive line of laboratory products. Our Sister Company, Chemica Alta Ltd, is now focusing on custom chemical synthesis of general intermediates, carbohydrates and other rare and fine chemicals. Our accomplishments include pharmaceutical R&D, oligo-saccharides and electro-luminescent compounds. We offer gram to kilogram scale and work in strict confidence.

Our Staff	Well located
Sales representatives are now located in most parts of Canada to provide you with quick and personal service. The selection of our staff reflects our strategy of employing knowledgeable people who can assist research workers understand the capabilities of the most advanced equipment that becomes available. Our sales people are trained to help our customers get the maximum use out of the dollars that are available to them. To expedite delivery we have warehouses established in Toronto, Edmonton and Cincinnati. In 1999 we established our first repair and service center equipped to handle all of your service and maintenance needs. We repair, calibrate, perform installations and enter into preventative maintenance contracts for medical and laboratory equipment purchased from Rose Scientific Ltd. We have also established servicing agreements with Affiliate service organizations throughout Canada to provide local servicing options. The high quality reputation of the Rose product line results from the right combination of product mix, organization and the professionalism and dedication of all the staff at Rose Scientific Ltd.
